Baby Blues

My cute niece was blessed a couple of weeks ago, and I, of course, missed it. I hate to miss all of the happenings. I can't get over how cute she is. She's kind of out of control.

Can't wait to see her in a couple of weeks.

The Gunks

Last Saturday the weather was kind of amazing so we decided to rent a car and go upstate for a little hiking, outlet shopping, and eating... I can't lie.. I kind of love these little adventures. It's the only way I survive city living.

Lyla loves hiking and does a surprisingly good job. She gave me a heart attack when she took off, and we couldn't find her for ten minutes. Let's just say there was some drama and after that she wasn't allowed off her leash anymore.

After our hike Davis found this old inn he ate at a few years ago with his parents. Actually, Greg found it from his old visa bill... That's what I call organization... too bad Davis didn't get any of those skills.

Here's to buying a car.

Champions!

Last night we stayed up late watching Real vs. Galaxy.... It was quite the intense game and pretty exciting that Real won!! Holla!!
I liked this guy...

And I felt bad for this one when he missed at the end... Even though I'm glad he did, still sad.

Must Sees

I can't get a couple of movies out of my head lately (Jacob might be another one I can't get out of my head)....

After seeing Previous I just felt sick to my stomach about it. I don't think I've ever cried this much in a movie... Although It was an interesting movie going experience because Les and I were surrounded by some characters so we'd be crying our eyes out at the movie and at the same time laughing at all of the crazies around us. That's what we get for going to Times Square. This show is definitely emotional but so worth seeing.

The other flick I loved wasn't quite as depressing.. Fabulous Mr. Fox. GO SEE IT. It was perfect. So funny. So cute. So everything. We all loved it. I think I need to read the book now. Somehow I missed this one after catching all of his other goodies.

Lyla got a little package in the mail from her cousin Romey, and she looks super cute in it... In case you can't tell, it says, "Dog Run Flirt."

2005??

My last year at BYU we discovered this old Nintendo game called Tetris Attack and well, the rest is history. We spent more hours playing that game than doing anything else... It sounds pretty lame, I know, but we had SO much fun playing it. Joe, of course, was the master, and it was our goal to beat him. There's a pic of some of us on facebook after church one Sunday from back then, and the caption says, "Tetrix Attack, A Quick Sacrament Meeting, Tetris Attack."

I guess some things never change. ...

(of course I was the one to beat this weekend)

BTW, the Jazz won this game after playing really dumb during the 4th and almost blowing it.

Now if only Joe moved back and Nici followed everything would be right in the world.
