Season 4

Since we can't have Ali, we decided Brigham was the next best thing, and we had a threesies watch FNL night... and oh boy... I just can't get over it... I was a little worried since there were so many changes, but I didn't miss all the oldies that much, and these two and the newbies just make up for them being gone.... It's still the best show.

"Part of the List"

The day before Halloween I asked a little girl what she was going to be for Halloween, and she told me that her family didn't have enough money to get her a costume so she wasn't going to be able to dress up. As I've been looking at everyone's Halloween pictures the past week, and espeically all of the cute kiddie costumes, I haven't been able to get that little girl out of my mind.

Sometimes I get caught up in all of the little things that are going wrong in my life, and it takes a really extreme situation to make me realize how selfish I'm being. The thought of that little girl hit me hard, and ever since our conversation, I've felt really overwhelmed with gratitude.

The past few days I've been thinking about doing some thankful posts, but decided not to for fear of being too cheesy... But really, am I one to care if I look silly or cheesy on this thing? NO!! And November is the perfect month for that, right? Then to top it all off Nat mentioned that November is National Blogging Bla Bla Month, so I decided this would be the perfect month to try to blog everyday about little things that I'm thankful for... Since today is the 5th I'm going to do 25 things from the past week to catch up....

"Movin On Up"

I feel like I'm getting old because I'm getting so much joy from household items...
I recently purchased a vacuum, and every time I use it I'm surprised by how much I love it...

The other item I'm kind of obsessed with is the crock pot I got for a wedding gift... It's SO SO easy to use, and I love it because I just dump everything in before work and when I get home dinner is ready.. It's magic!

Pinkie should be proud.. Holla!!

"I Want Candy"

Halloween weekend we had some fun times...

Friday night we went to St. John's Cathedral see the original Dracula movie from 1922, "Nosferatu,". It was fun to run into Scott and Lindsey who were visiting from Arizona.... We also ran into them the next morning while we were getting brunch at Bubby's..

On Halloween Slade and Andrea had a fondue party....

Lyla has a namesake*.... This little cutie...

Luckily, she arrived a few weeks early so I got to see her when I was in Utah two weeks ago....

*I just like to tease her mom and dad that that they named their baby after my baby...
